Are we on the precipice?...and if so, precipice to what? Oblivion of all we ever knew?...or into a multidimensional continuum that we could not possibly, in our current state, have any hope of even marginally comprehending...and if this latter, will the quantum jump...the cultural shock....obliterate us as surely as a thermonuclear blast?
